Công ước Roma

Tôi có dò bài này, có phải bạn dịch từ en:Rome Convention for the Protection of Performers, Producers of Phonograms and Broadcasting Organisations vậy liệu chúng ta có tên thích hợp hơn? Hiện công ước Roma, có 3 bài như ở đây [1]. 12:18, ngày 15 tháng 9 năm 2020 (UTC)

Lấy ý kiến người dùng về chức năng Sửa đổi gợi ý của Wikipedia

Xin chào, mình là Phương đến từ nhóm Tăng trưởng thuộc Quỹ Wikimedia.

Mình liên hệ với bạn vì gần đây bạn đã thực hiện nhiều sửa đổi gợi ý sử dụng công cụ "Sửa đổi gợi ý" trên trang nhà (Xin mời xem tại đây nếu bạn không rõ công cụ này là gì).

Mình có một số câu hỏi khảo sát về trải nghiệm sử dụng công cụ dưới đây, mong muốn được nhận câu trả lời từ phía bạn. Bạn không cần trả lời hết các câu hỏi nếu điều đó làm bạn không thoải mái ^^ Tất nhiên là tụi mình muốn lắng nghe ý kiến của bạn ở tất cả các câu hỏi rồi.

1. Tại sao bạn lại quyết định thực hiện các sửa đổi gợi ý?
2. Ấn tượng của bạn đối với sửa đổi gợi ý là như thế nào?

Về việc chuyển tập tin sang Commons

Chào bạn. Bạn khỏe chứ. Mình lưu ý bạn một chút, các tập tin trước khi chuyển sang Commons cần được kiểm tra kĩ là đầy đủ thông tin nguồn gốc, giấy phép, ngày phát hành/ngày tạo ra (nếu sử dụng giấy phép phạm vi công cộng hay giấy phép có liên quan tới ngày phát hành/ngày tạo ra) và tương thích với Commons. Gần đây bạn có chuyển tập tin Tập tin:Bạch Thái Bưởi.jpg sang Commons khi mà tập tin chưa có thông tin nguồn gốc, tác giả. Mình đã thêm các thông tin này vào theo như miêu tả, nhưng có vẻ như tập tin không tương thích với Commons vì nó chưa phát hành đủ lâu để thuộc vào phạm vi công cộng ở Hoa Kỳ. Tạm thời mình đã đặt bản mẫu để giữ tập tin lại viwiki. Đôi khi sẽ có những tình huống phức tạp như vậy, mong bạn cẩn thận. Nếu không chắc chắn, hãy thảo luận trước khi hành động. Thân ái. :D. Bạn ơi, Tập tin:Ban Tram Ca 1966.jpg không có bằng chứng cấp phép của tác giả (tác giả không phải người tải lên, và không có bằng chứng cấp phép cụ thể, thường là phải có email gửi cho wikimedia foundation qua OTRS nếu mình không nhầm) nên bạn không nên chuyển sang commons. Bạn ơi, bạn chuyển hình sang Commons nếu không bận thì dùng Hotcat gắn giùm nó một cái thể loại nhé. Nếu không biết dùng thể loại nào thì một tên gọi chung chung như Category:Unidentified subjects in Vietnam là cũng ok rồi, nếu không nó sẽ lạc giữa hàng triệu hình ở Commons và không được dùng đến thì cũng hơi phí. • The number of times you can do something in a period of time on wiki is limited. This could be the number of edits per minute or the number of users you email in a day. Some users are not affected by all limits because of their user rights. They could soon see the limit even if it does not affect them. [4]
• The new version of MediaWiki will be on test wikis and MediaWiki.org from 22 September. It will be on non-Wikipedia wikis and some Wikipedias from 23 September. It will be on all wikis from 24 September (calendar).

Giao diện mới cho wikinews

@Autumn VN: Ý kiến hay đó Bằng, tuy nhiên tôi lại không giỏi về mấy vụ code này lắm. Tôi thấy giao diện này chỉ cần sắp xếp lại và trang hoàng là được, vì nó lấy từ Wikinews tiếng Anh nên tôi nghĩ không cần có sự thay đổi lớn. Tôi thấy bạn không quen thuộc với vấn đề bản quyền và cấp phép của các hình ảnh, nên tôi đề xuất bạn tạm ngừng việc chuyển các hình ảnh sang Commons. Không biết bạn thấy sao? Tôi thấy Nothing I Can't có ý muốn giúp dọn dẹp. Có thể lúc đầu có một số điểm bạn chưa rành và ai khởi đầu cũng có nhiều sai sót, như Buiquangtu cũng vậy. Tôi không phát hiện sai sót gì lớn lắm, hoặc do số hình quá lớn nên tôi bỏ qua những sai sót nhỏ nào đó. Nếu Buiquangtu phát hiện điều gì có thể hướng dẫn và giải thích cho bạn này, tôi tin là Nothing I Can't có tinh thần học hỏi và nếu đã có mong muốn đóng góp thì tôi cũng không có lý do gì cản được. ~ Violet (talk) ~ 11:30, ngày 26 tháng 9 năm 2020 (UTC)

@Violetbonmua: Cảm ơn chị đã nhắc nhở, em mới tham gia chuyển tập tin nhưng dính khá nhiều "phốt" do không chú ý đến phần giấy phép mà nói đúng hơn là nội dung của tệp tin. Có 1 số hình có thể chưa hết BQ nhưng vẫn lọt lưới và được phát hành dưới CC-BY-SA 3.0 và 4.0. Lần sau em sẽ chú ý hơn đến mấy hình dạng này. Mảng hình ảnh này nó khá là phức tạp, có rất nhiều trường hợp mà tôi cũng không dám nắm chắc nữa. Có thể phân công lao động theo mức độ khó dễ thế này: Bạn cứ ưu tiên làm những hình nào bạn thấy dễ và chắc chắn là đúng thôi, cái nào nghi ngờ hãy để lại cho người khác xử lý. Bạn cố gắng thêm thể loại cho hình nhé, cũng tương tự như bài viết, có thể loại thì sau này tìm kiếm/quản lý dễ dàng hơn. Nếu là hình ở địa danh nào thì tag địa danh đó, hoặc bạn chỉ cần liên tưởng tới danh từ nào gần nhất với miêu tả hình để tag thôi cũng được. Nếu thêm thể loại ở vi.wiki thì hình như sang Commons không được thì phải (hình như tôi nhầm). Tốt nhất là thêm thể loại ở Commons. Ở Commons thì các thể loại đều là tiếng Anh, nên chắc Nothing I Can't có thể xử lý được. Bạn này từng dạo qua khá nhiều dự án mà. B ^{nhắn gửi} 12:48, ngày 26 tháng 9 năm 2020 (UTC)

Recent changes

• Admins can now see links to diffs of deleted revisions on Special:AbuseLog. This uses the interface of Special:Undelete. [5]
• Editors are automatically added to some user groups. For example editors are added to autoconfirmed users when they have edited enough times and long enough. Abuse filters can hinder users from automatically getting user rights for a period of time. They can also remove rights user have. Wikis can now ask to change how long this period of time is for their wiki in Phabricator. It is currently five days. [6]

Problems

• Last year some abuse filters stopped working because of a new change. If they tried to use variables that were unavailable for that action they would fail. This has now been fixed. [7]

Changes later this week

• The new version of MediaWiki will be on test wikis and MediaWiki.org from 29 September. It will be on non-Wikipedia wikis and some Wikipedias from 30 September. It will be on all wikis from 1 October (calendar).

Future changes

• You can't see the language links to other language versions from the talk page or history page. They are also not shown when you edit an article. This could change. It is not decided if for example the history page should link to another history page or to the article. You can take part in the discussion in Phabricator.
• The link colours could change. This is to make the difference between links and other text more clear. You can read more in Phabricator.
• In your preferences you can choose to get different notifications on the web or by email. You will see Apps as one of the alternatives later this week. This is because the Android and iOS Wikipedia apps will use push notifications for those who want them. You can see the preferences on the test wiki. The goal is to have push notifications on Android in October and on iOS in early 2021. [8]
• You can soon put pages on your watchlist for a limited time. This could be useful if you want to watch something for a shorter time but don't want it on your watchlist forever. It now works on mediawiki.org and will come to more wikis later. You can read more and see when it will come to other wikis.
• You can see what Wikimedians think are the best new technical tools this year. You can also nominate them.

@Đỗ Kim Trang: Xin lỗi đã phản hồi bạn muộn. Để tạo một bài Wiki, cách nhanh nhất là viết tên trang (nhớ viết đúng chính tả nhé) vào sau cụm ..../wiki/(...). Trong đó (...) là nơi bạn sẽ viết tên trang (cái này ở trên thanh địa chỉ của trình duyệt Web bạn nhé). Nếu có gì khó hiểu đừng ngại hỏi mình nhé. Problems

• There were many errors with the new MediaWiki version last week. The new version was rolled back. Updates that should have happened last week are late. [10]
• Everyone was logged out. This was because a user reported being logged in to someone else's account. The problem should be fixed now. [11]
• Many pages have JavaScript errors. You can read more and now see a list of user scripts with errors.

Changes later this week

Now only Latin and Arabic letters will extend links on Arabic wikis. [12]

Chào bạn Đỗ Kim Trang, mình tình cờ thấy được câu hỏi này và xin được trả lời trước bạn Mạnh An nhé. Không rõ bạn muốn hỏi cách đăng một bức hình lên hay thêm một bức ảnh vào một bài viết, mình nói cả hai. Nếu bạn muốn đăng một bức ảnh lên thì bạn xem và làm theo hướng dẫn này (xin lỗi, mình không rõ việc này lắm nên không nói chi tiết được). Còn nếu bạn muốn thêm một bức hình vào một bài viết thì:

– Bạn bấm vào nút sửa đổi của bài viết bạn muốn thêm ảnh.

– Trên thanh công cụ (cái hàng ngay trên nội dung bài viết), bạn bấm vào ô "Chèn" → Hình ảnh và phương tiện.

– Tại đó, bạn gõ tên hình bạn cần tìm (ví dụ: cá, vở,...). Nếu có hình đúng ý thì bạn bấm vào hình đó rồi bấm "Sử dụng hình ảnh này". (Nếu chưa có, bạn làm theo hướng dẫn này (như khi đăng một tấm hình lên).)

– Bạn điền giải thích về bức hình, điều chỉnh hình bên trái, phải hoặc giữa (không bắt buộc).

• The new version of MediaWiki will be on test wikis and MediaWiki.org from 20 October. It will be on non-Wikipedia wikis and some Wikipedias from 21 October. It will be on all wikis from 22 October (calendar).

• You will be able to read but not to edit the wikis for up to an hour on 27 October around 14:00 (UTC). It will probably be shorter than an hour. [20]
• In the AbuseFilter extension, the rmspecials() function will be updated soon so that it does not remove the "space" character. Wikis are advised to wrap all the uses of rmspecials() with rmwhitespace() wherever necessary to keep filters' behavior unchanged. You can use the search function on Special:AbuseFilter to locate its usage. [21]
• Some gadgets and user-scripts use the HTML div with the ID #jump-to-nav. This div will be removed soon. Maintainers should replace these uses with either #siteSub or #mw-content-text. A list of affected scripts is at the top of phab:T265373.

Dự luật đề xuất rằng người đề cử/viết chính có quyền (tự động) gia hạn thêm một khoảng thời gian nhất định trong trường hợp phiếu chống được bỏ quá muộn. Biểu quyết có sáu nội dung đề xuất khác nhau. @Ivan011681: Chào bạn, mình xin được trả lời câu hỏi của bạn một cách ngắn gọn như sau: Wikipedia là một bách khoa toàn thư nên việc tồn tại những bài nhảm nhí là điều không mong muốn. Vì vậy để răn đe những bài đó cũng như người tạo bài thì: Bài viết sẽ bị xóa ngay lập tức, Người viết bài đó sẽ bị cảnh báo vì hành vi của mình. Nếu người đó cố tình tạo nhiều bài nhảm nhí thì sẽ bị "xử đẹp" tức là sẽ bị tước quyền sửa đổi trên Wikipedia và có thể là vĩnh viễn. Nếu câu hỏi này chưa đáp ứng được nhu cầu của bạn, bạn có thể đặt câu hỏi khác, mình sẽ giải thích theo cách khác (tuy nhiên nó sẽ hơi khó hiểu chút). Recent changes

• You can no longer read Wikimedia wikis if your browser uses very old TLS. This is because it is a security problem for everyone. It could lead to downgrade attacks. Since October 29, 2020, users who use old TLS versions will not be able to connect to Wikimedia projects. A list of browser recommendations is available. All modern operating systems and browsers are always able to reach Wikimedia projects. [27]
• There is a new automatic tracking category available: Pages with non-numeric formatnum arguments. It collects pages which use the {{formatnum}} parser function with invalid (non-numeric) input, e.g. {{formatnum:TECHNEWS}}. Note that {{formatnum:123,456}} is also invalid input: as described in the documentation, the argument should be unformatted so that it can be reliably and correctly localised. The tracking category will help identify problematic usage and double-formatting. The new tracking category's name can be translated at translatewiki. [28]

• In the future IP addresses of unregistered users will not be shown for everyone. They will get an alias instead. There will be a new user right or an opt-in function for more vandal fighters to see the IPs of unregistered users. There would be some criteria for who gets the user right or opt-in. There will also be other new tools to help handle vandalism. This is early in the process and the developers are still collecting information from the communities before they suggest solutions.

• You can see reference previews. This shows a preview of the footnote when you hover over it. This has been a beta feature. It will move out of beta and be enabled by default. There will be an option not to use it. The developers are looking for small or medium-sized wikis to be the first ones. You can let them know if your wiki is interested. [32]
• From November 16 the categories will not be sorted in order for a short time. This is because the developers are upgrading to a new version of the internationalisation library. Recent changes

• Listings on category pages are sorted on each wiki for that language using a library. For a brief period on 16 November, changes to categories will not be sorted correctly for most languages. This is because the developers are upgrading to a new version of the library. They will then use a script to fix the existing categories. This will take a few hours or a few days depending on how big the wiki is. You can read more. [35][36]

Changes later this week

• If you merged two pages in a namespace where pages can't redirect this used to break the merge history. This will now be fixed. [37]
• The new version of MediaWiki will be on test wikis and MediaWiki.org from 17 November. It will be on non-Wikipedia wikis and some Wikipedias from 18 November. It will be on all wikis from 19 November (calendar).

Future changes

• The Community Wishlist Survey is now open for proposals. The survey decides what the Community Tech team will work on. You can post proposals from 16 to 30 November. You can vote on proposals from 8 December to 21 December.

Changes later this week

• The new version of MediaWiki will be on test wikis and MediaWiki.org from 1 December. It will be on non-Wikipedia wikis and some Wikipedias from 2 December. It will be on all wikis from 3 December (calendar).

Future changes

• The iOS Wikipedia app will show readers more of the article history. They can see new updates and easier see how the article has changed over time. This is an experiment. It will first be shown only to some iOS app users as a test. [40][41]
• The Wiki Replicas can be used for SQL queries. You can use Quarry, PAWS or other ways to do this. To make the Wiki Replicas stable there will be two changes. Cross-database JOINS will no longer work. You can also only query a database if you connect to it directly. This will happen in February 2021. If you think this affects you and you need help you can post on Phabricator or on Wikitech. [42]

@Torakku Rin: Ồ, rất vui được giúp đỡ bạn. Để bắt đầu đóng góp cho wikipedia, bạn nên thử việc sửa những lỗi vặt trước nhé. Đầu tiên, ở phía trên cùng của màn hình, bên cạnh biểu tượng hình người là tên tk của bạn. Bạn nhấn vào đó. Tiếp theo hãy chọn những chủ đề mà bạn muốn sửa bài. Hệ thống sẽ lọc bài theo chủ đề. Bạn cứ làm theo những gì mà bài yêu cầu. VD: cần wiki hoá, cần dọn dẹp,.... Chúc bạn thành công. To see this you need to turn on showing Wikidata edits in your watchlist in the preferences. Changes to the Wikidata description in the language of a Wikimedia wiki will then be shown in recent changes and watchlists. This will not show edits to languages that are not relevant to your wiki. • The new version of MediaWiki will be on test wikis and MediaWiki.org from 8 December. It will be on non-Wikipedia wikis and some Wikipedias from 9 December. It will be on all wikis from 10 December (calendar).

Tôi thiết tha cầu khẩn cộng đồng cần phải tìm ra phương án gì đó để bảo vệ dự án Wikipedia thân thương của chúng ta và gìn giữ công sức suốt 17 năm trời của bao nhiêu người làm việc "tự nguyện" trước khi quá muộn. Nếu đề xuất này được thông qua, tôi sẽ là người duy nhất (do không có ai khác xung phong làm) xung phong dọn sạch rác để tiến hành đồng nhất bản mẫu; bản mẫu mới sẽ có nhiệm vụ trong việc hạn chế tối đa lượng rác thải ra nhằm đảm bảo một Wikipedia sạch rác như xưa. @Nguyễn jonny: Tại sao bạn lại có thể nói cái đám bài của tôi là rác chứ, bạn xem lại xem tôi đã nói gì với bạn nhé, trong Messenger, tôi hỏi "Có ai quan tâm đến đống rác của enwiki không" Đống rác của enwiki không phải bài nào cũng rác đâu nhé. Có những bài mà đưa sang viwiki thì không khéo đưa lên làm BVT luôn cũng nên Bạn đừng nói mà chưa nghĩ đến hệ quả của nó. Tôi đac trung thành với Wikipedia từ tháng 2 đến giờ, tôi đã bỏ rất nhiều công sức đi tìm bài để dịch, để sửa nội dung, để "đẹp hoá" những bài clk (cuộc thi YBL, tôi cứu được kha khá bài clk đó), vậy mà bạn hỏi tôi câu đó nghĩa là bạn đang phủ nhận tất cả công sức của tôi hay sao?. • The new version of MediaWiki will be on test wikis and MediaWiki.org from 15 December. It will be on non-Wikipedia wikis and some Wikipedias from 16 December. It will be on all wikis from 17 December (calendar).

• Because of the holidays the next issue of Tech News will be sent out on 11 January 2021.

Recent changes

• The {{citation needed}} template shows when a statement in a Wikipedia article needs a source. If you click on it when you edit with the visual editor there is a popup that explains this. Now it can also show the reason and when it was added. [48]

Changes later this week

• There is no new MediaWiki version this week or next week.

Future changes

• You can propose and discuss what technical improvements should be done for geographic information. This could be coordinates, maps or other related things.
• Some wikis use LanguageConverter to switch between writing systems or variants of a language. This can only be done for the entire page. There will be a <langconvert> tag that can convert a piece of text on a page. [49]
• Oversighters and stewards can hide entries in Special:AbuseLog. They can soon hide multiple entries at once using checkboxes. This works like hiding normal edits. It will happen in early January. [50]
