• Diện mạo của các trang thảo luận đã được thay đổi cho mọi wiki, trừ Commons, Wikidata và hầu hết các Wikipedia (một vài trang đã nhận được thay đổi về thiết kế này trước đó). Tool of the week

• Wikidata periodic table - Tool by User:Ricordisamoa, to browse all chemical elements available on Wikidata, with atomic number, chemical symbol, and localized label. It also includes two charts of the nuclides, with links to every isotope in Wikidata, colored by half-life or decay mode.

Other Noteworthy Stuff

• A new UI mode is available for the online validator for EntitySchemas. It represents validation reports as a table rather than a very long string, and replaces most links with hyperlinks with some of the text behind them; making them easier to read. Currently being tested at https://shex-validator.toolforge.org/packages/shex-webapp/doc/shex-simple-improved.html, we are looking for participants to evaluate this tool. Some experience with editing Wikidata is appreciated, but no experience working with Schemas is required. If you are interested, you can sign up here. We hope to begin interviews around May 13. • Trên Wikisource có một trang đặc biệt liệt kê các trang tác phẩm mà không có bản sao hình ảnh tương ứng. Bạn nay có thể sử dụng từ thần chú mới __EXPECTWITHOUTSCANS__ để lọc bỏ một số trang nhất định (như danh sách các tái bản hoặc bản dịch của tác phẩm) khỏi danh sách đó. [9]

Thay đổi gần đây

• Một số lỗi có liên quan đến bản cập nhật mới nhất của Trình Tải lên Tập tin trên Wikimedia Commons đã được giải quyết. Để biết thêm thông tin, xem T365107 và T365119.
• Vào tháng 3 năm 2024, API mới addPortlet đã được thêm vào nhằm cho phép các tiện ích tạo các portlet (menu) mới trong giao diện. API này có thể được sử dụng để tạo các menu thả xuống trong một số giao diện nhất định. Mời các nhà phát triển tiện ích dùng thử API này và để lại phản hồi.
• Một số mã CSS trong giao diện Minerva đã được loại bỏ nhằm giúp cấu hình của cộng đồng trở nên dễ dàng hơn. Bảo quản viên giao diện nên kiểm tra kết xuất trên các thiết bị di động đối với các khía cạnh liên quan đến các class: .collapsible, .multicol, .reflist, .coordinates, .topicon. Thông tin thêm về CSS thay thế có sẵn nếu cần thiết.

Thay đổi sắp tới trong tuần này

• Phiên bản mới của MediaWiki sẽ được triển khai trên các wiki thử nghiệm và MediaWiki.org từ ngày 28 tháng Năm. Nó sẽ được cài đặt trên các wiki không phải là Wikipedia và trên một số Wikipedia từ ngày 29 tháng Năm, và trên mọi wiki từ ngày 30 tháng Năm (xem lịch trình). [24][25]
• Khi bạn truy cập một wiki mà bạn chưa có tài khoản cục bộ trên đó, các quy định cục bộ chẳng hạn như bộ lọc sai phạm đôi khi có thể ngăn việc tài khoản của bạn được tạo ra. Bắt đầu từ tuần này, MediaWiki sẽ tính đến cả quyền toàn cục của bạn để xem liệu bạn có thể ghi đè những quy định cục bộ như vậy được hay không. [26]
