This page documents the {{Tft}} template.
This template for templates is designed to be used in conjunction with the {{subst:}} pseudo-namespace. It provides a utility for the creation of well-formed templates.

{{{1}}}contains the template body code.{{{subst}}}indicates whether the template is intended to be used with the{{subst:}}pseudo-namespace.- If required, a note will be added to instruct editors to use
{{subst:}}, and transclusion will result in an error. - If always, a note will be added to instruct editors to use
{{subst:}}. - If never, a comment will be added to recommend transclusion. It will be visible only while editing and on a diff view.
- If sometimes or omitted, no mention of
{{subst:}}will be made.
- If required, a note will be added to instruct editors to use
{{{substcomment}}}is a boolean value (it defaults ton) indicating whether a comment should be inserted with substitutions. The comment notes the original template that was substituted—not Tft, but the template on which it is substituted. Only values ofnoryare supported.{{{z}}}adds a Z-number to facilitate in the tracking of{{subst:}}templates.
