Usage
[sửa mã nguồn]This template creates an external link to the information page for a Quebec municipality at the Ministère des Affaires municipales et Habitation at mamh.gouv.qc.ca). (The name of this template reflects a previously used URL based on an earlier acronym). The Ministry website catalogs basic statistical information about each municipality in Quebec, including the name, population, surface area, administrative region, and regional county municipality (MRC).

Description of parameters
[sửa mã nguồn]- first unnamed parameter: This is the geographic code, which can be:
- five-digit number, for a municipality
- three-digit number, for a regional county municipality (use with
type=mrc) - two-digit number, for an administrative region (use with
type=region) - five-character alphanumeric, for a borough (use with
type=arrondissement)
- To look it up:
- Go to the Répertoire des municipalités page, and type the name of the municipality in the Municipalité: field, then click on the "Chercher" button. If successful, the resulting page will show the Code géographique.
